During the presentation we want to show how we managed to convert real history events into a storydriven gameplay without losing its historical atmosphere. We also want to highlight all the details that made a difference, like old weapons, armors, even shapes of the cities and villages. We also intorduced some improvements into the gameplay itself so that it was more accesible, more intuitive for everybody. For example, we added third person view action camera. There are many features taken from other genres to make playing Ancestors Legacy a unique experience. We believe that we crafted medieval World in the way it looked and that all our efforts to make it authentical are the real game changers.
Jakub Stychno is a level designer and sometimes works as a spokesman for the company. He worked on Deadfall Adventures, Hatred and now Ancestors. Personally, he is a huge fan of oriental culture – he visited countless countries on all continents which include China as well.
